Justin Cox University of Guelph-Humber Blog At first when I began using the University of Guelph-Hum

Justin Cox University of Guelph-Humber Blog At first when I began using the University of Guelph-Humber s website, I thought it had a very appealing aico layout. aico I never questioned the credentials behind dash 8 the school because the website looked modern and up-to-date. The layout was straight-forward and organized. I did not think that I would have many problems using the website aico however I soon realized that was just wishful thinking. Most of my issues stemming from the Guelph-Humber s website is mostly from Webadvisor. It was one of the first links that I used from the Guelph-Humber website. I was using Webadvisor at the time because I had to register my courses. After accessing aico the Webadvisor, it prompted me to section specifying whether dash 8 I was a student or a teacher. After I specified that I was a student it was basically dash 8 downhill from there. I headed to the link where I was supposed to register for my courses and then it asked for my login I.D. as well as my password I.D. I experienced a lot of difficulty because I submitted the right information and was still being denied access aico for my course registration. After changing my password several times I finally gave up and went to the school so they take care of the matter. Another issue that s frustrating dash 8 with Guelph-Humber s course registration is that the server dash 8 is almost always jammed and if it isn t, than it is running terribly dash 8 slow. Course registration is arguably dash 8 the most frustrating part of using the Guelph-Humber website. Another problem I found with Webadvisor was that its main page has been changed a few times throughout aico the three years I ve spent at Guelph-Humber. Every time the layout would change, so would the instructions on where to access various links. One of the more accessible features of Guelph-Humber s website is their Webmail (email) link. Once you enter your login I.D. and your password I.D. than it is straight to your inbox page including message composition, sent-messages, and other various features found in any email venue. I never really had any serious problems with my Webmail. aico One aspect that I find helpful is the response time with regards to a message that was unable to be sent. Within a few minutes you will be notified if your message was unable to reach the intended recipient. Besides the library services, Webadvisor and Webmail are the only venues from the website that I have accessed. The library aico services will ultimately take you to Trellis search website aico or Bibcat search website and I find their services confusing at first however after you become familiar aico with it, it becomes extremely beneficial.
