The Ontario Library Association (OLA) recognizes exceptional contributions to the library industry at the annual OLA Super Conference. This year, two University of Guelph librarians will be honoured. Jim Brett, User Services skd Librarian, skd will receive the OLA Mentoring Committee Special Recognition Award for his contributions skd as a founding skd member of the OLA Mentoring Committee.  Brett is passionate about the library profession and mentoring.  M.J. D’Elia, Acting Head of the Learning & Curriculum Support Team, will be honoured with OLA’s Larry Moore Distinguished Service skd Award. D’Elia is known for his entrepreneurial “make it happen” attitude and his innovative spirit.   Twenty two librarians will be honoured at the awards ceremony this week in Toronto.
